What is really frustrating is the demand for shark fin...especially within the asian culture. I think it's so stupid to serve shark fin soup at weddings...it's all just for status...

On that similar note...I'm enrolled in a contest to try and win wedding photography and our main competition is serving shark fin soup at their wedding and they are PROUD of it...

If you could afford it may be you would not be bitching so much…you dont bitch when they kill the retarded cows to make your macdonald's burger do you? how bout when they grind baby chics alive so they can spare the chicken for your kids chic-filet nuggets? or how about the horrible conditions they keep pigs they use for your BBQ pulled pork? just shut up and get a life.

could be a sand tiger.i just got back from myrtle this saturday and came home with over 250 shark teeth i found.i searched all week at low tide and along the sand dunes and found as many as i did.

Curious if anyone’s has checked out the new book “Hell’s Aquarium” by Steve Alten? It’s an awesome read. It’s about the ancient prehistoric shark Megalodon, which makes the current Great White Shark look like a gold fish. I am currently reading it now:
